TWESTIVAL KL CONTINUES GOODWILL TRADITION INTO 2011

It's time once again for Kuala Lumpur's annual twitter festival (more famously known as "Twestival") to create greater awareness for charitable causes. KL is but one of 200 cities across the world holding a Twestival for local charities and this year, KL has chosen Pertubuhan Masyarakat Prihatin as their charity of choice. This years Twestival is Kuala Lumpur's 3rd, and will be held on the 24th March at Finnegans's Irish Pub and Restaurant, Mid Valley from 7:30pm onward.

This year, the event will be presided over by emcee Will Quah as well as Elaine Daly. For your entertainment, local comedian Kuah Jenhan and the darling of the Malaysian Indie Music scene, Liyana Fizi will be working the crowd.

So if you spend most of your virtual lives on twitter, come by and meet the people behind the handles and contribute toward the RM12,000 target for Twestival to raise for Prihatin this year. Tickets are available at the door for a minimum donation of RM35 and for every ticket sold, the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) is matching it RM for RM.

We'll be there, come look out for us @luc_sohow, @wernshen, @chapree & @hueisong. Don't be shy and say hi!
